About the Workshop
Welcome to the 5th Boron Nitride Workshop, to be held in Warsaw, Poland at the University of Warsaw. Following the success of our previous gatherings in Montpellier (2023), Sydney (2024), Nashville (2025), and Pohang (2026), we are delighted to bring the BN community to Central Europe for the first time.
The Boron Nitride Workshop series remains dedicated entirely to boron nitride in all its allotropic forms. Over the past years our global community has continued to expand as BN has solidified its position as a material of choice for applications spanning electronics, nanophotonics, polaritonics, lighting, imaging, quantum technologies, biology, materials science, and theory.
This year’s meeting will showcase cutting-edge research while maintaining our commitment to fostering deep scientific discussions and strengthening international collaborations. We look forward to welcoming you to Warsaw in May 2027.
