Getting to Warsaw
By air
Warsaw Chopin Airport (WAW) is located 8 km southwest of the city centre and offers direct flights from major European and international hubs.
Public Transport from the Airport
Bus 175 — direct to Krakowskie Przedmiescie, ~30 min
SKM S2/S3 — train to Warszawa Centralna, ~20 min
Night bus N32 — runs 23:00–5:00, every 30 min
Taxi/Uber/Bolt — ~15–25 min, approx. 35–50 PLN
By train
Warsaw Central Railway Station (Dworzec PKP Warszawa Centralna) is located in the city centre, approximately 25 minutes walk from the venue.

Getting to the Venue
The workshop venue is well served by Warsaw public transport. The following bus lines stop directly at the Uniwersytet stop on Krakowskie Przedmiescie, in front of the University of Warsaw campus:

Tickets are valid for all buses, trams, and metro lines in Warsaw. A 20-minute ticket costs 3.40 PLN, and a 75-minute ticket 4.40 PLN. Tickets can be purchased at metro stations, ticket machines at bus stops, or directly on board by card. For general information about public transport in Warsaw, visit the ZTM website.

Accomodation
We do not offer a conference hotel. Warsaw has a wide range of accommodation options to suit all budgets. We recommend searching for hotels in the city centre — ideally near Krakowskie Przedmiescie, Nowy Swiat, or Srodmiescie — for easy access to the venue on foot or by public transport.
Visa Information
Visa-Free Entry
Citizens of over 60 countries — including the USA, UK, Canada, Australia, Japan, South Korea, and most EU/EEA countries — may enter Poland without visa for stays up to 90 days within any 180-day period.
Visa Required
Citizens of countries not covered by the visa-free regime must apply for a Schengen C visa at a Polish consulate or embassy before travelling. We recommend applying well in advance — processing takes approximately 15 working days.
EES & ETIAS
From April 2026, non-EU visitors are subject to EES biometric registration (fingerprints and facial scan) at the Schengen border on first entry. Allow extra time at passport control.
ETIAS pre-travel authorisation will be required for visa-exempt travellers from late 2026 — applicable for BNW 2027 participants.
